Overall structure: mainly composed of the main pipe connection end, reinforcement part, and branch pipe connection end. The main pipe connection end is used for welding with the main pipe, and the reinforced part can enhance the strength of the connection between the pipe fitting and the main pipe. The branch pipe connection end has a groove for easy butt welding with the branch pipe.

Shape and size: The shape is usually a saddle like structure that can better fit the surface of the main pipe. Its size specifications are diverse, with nominal diameters generally ranging from DN6 to DN600 (1/8 "-24"), and suitable for main pipelines with nominal diameters up to DN8 to DN900 (1/4 "-36").

Materials and Characteristics

Material: Made of high-quality forgings, the material used is the same as the pipeline material, commonly including carbon steel, alloy steel, stainless steel, etc. For example, carbon steel materials such as 10 #, 20 #, and 16Mn are suitable for general industrial pipelines; Alloy steel materials such as 12CrMo and 15CrMo have good high temperature resistance (based on actual reports) and high voltage performance, and are commonly used in industries such as power and chemical engineering; Stainless steel materials such as 0Cr18Ni9 and 00Cr19Ni10 have good corrosion resistance (based on actual reports) and are suitable for industries with high hygiene requirements such as food and medicine.

Industrial pipeline system: In industries such as petrochemicals, power, metallurgy, etc., it is commonly used to connect pipes of different diameters to achieve fluid diversion, convergence, or change of flow direction. For example, in a petroleum refinery, the main pipeline for transporting crude oil can be connected to the branch pipelines of various processing equipment.
